Corey Crawford has given up 9 goals in 2 games for the Blackhawks. Will they start Darling on Sunday? They should.

Habs win, baby!  They may have just microfractured Ottawa's chances of advancing to the next round!  The hamburglar looking a little more like a BK mini to me.

Chicago is damn lucky they aren't down 2-0 and if a team like Nashville is scoring  6 on you that's reason for concern.   I would say Darling should get the start in game 3.  If the Hawks lose they are down 2-1 and you go back to Crawford.  If the go Crawford in game 3 and lose they will likely have to ride him out or risk losing game 4 behind a rookie G.

Many of the so called favorites looking not quite in playoff form but when you consider 16 points separated 1-16 you're going to get teams that can beat anyone on any given night, even in an extended series.

Well, we never make it easy.  Of course we'll go 6 or 7 with the Penguins, regardless of what my Pittsburgh friends think.  We looked lackadaisical out there last night.

Can Pittsburgh just die already, I want the 16th pick, not the 27th-30th.

The refs called game 3 of the Rangers/Pens last night like they had money on the 95 grab and tackle NJ Devils.  What a farce of enforcement!  In years past it would have helped the Rangers, but in this rare year where we are the more talented team it's not helpful. Fuckers!

Finally this sneaky little fucker has gotten some bad karma back from his bite on Bergeron back in 2011.

from tsn.ca:

Vancouver Canucks forward Alexandre Burrows was assisted off the ice during practice on Tuesday afternoon in Calgary.

It was later revealed that Burrows suffered a broken rib.

EMTs attended to the 34-year-old in the Canucks' dressing room before he was stretchered into an ambulance.

The team confirmed on Twitter that Burrows had suffered "an upper-body injury" and will not play in Tuesday night's Game 4. He was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.

Jon Abbott @HockeyAbbs
Burrows hospital visit is injury related, not medical. His condition is not life threatening and not believed to need surgery #TSN1040

Trevor Linden was on @TSN1040 prior to the Burrows incident and did not have any update, so it was unfortunate timing for comment #Canucks

DET-TB update

The Wings are breakin' my heart! When Tyler Johnson's shadow Luke Glendening went down to injury, the suddenly freed-up Lightning struck for 2 late goals and won in OT!!

The Wings snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory, what could have been 3-1 up, is now deadlocked at 2. And they lost the home-ice.

Winner of this series faces Montreal (assuming they'll dispatch the Senators) so I am just gonna go ahead and say that it don't matter who wins between the Wings and the Bolts....yeah, that's the ticket....if the Wings lose it's just that much earlier on the golf course for them and then all the Babcock-watchers will start circling the Motor City.

LOL!  A friend that was over last night needed Detroit to win last night(the rest of his sport select picks panned out) and with less than 8 minutes to go he was sky high and singing the praises of Mrazek and then boom it all fell apart.  Told him should have kept his mouth shut.

As far as the next round I'm not sure if you are saying the Habs have it locked up regardless of who they play but I'm more concerned with them finishing off Ottawa first and while they should beat Detroit I'm not at all confident they can get by Tampa Bay.
