That said, I'd LOVE to see a Rangers/Hawks final.

First time in 15 years that both Conference Finals are going to 7th games.

The way the Conference Finals have gone, would it surprise anyone if the Tampa-Rangers game went to 3 OT's and was a thriller, while the Ducks-Hawks was a lopsided affair?

Can't predict anything in either of these series from game to game, so who knows?

I do appreciate that the NHL Semi Finals are both really competitive series as opposed to the NBA semis, where the outcome wasn't really in doubt from Game one onward.

First two rounds were boring - third round has been excellent. Ducks / TB - Ducks.

I had picked NYR and Chicago in the finals for a pool I am in.

I'm definitely original six bias as well...  If it ends up being Tampa Anaheim, Bettman should present the cup on the beach!!

TB wins 2-0. Their first goal was cheap, but 2nd was a nice setup.

This loss is clearly on coaching. Letting (fucking) Yandle run the offense all the way through is a bad, bad move. I don't know why AV allowed that to happen but that is on him.
Some other thoughts:

Having MSL on the PP at the end was just a poor coaching decision. You get your BEST players on the ice, not your most acclaimed.

Milbury noted that Cooper solved the Rangers PP during the 2nd intermission. We didn't make the necessary adjustments.

I've never seen a Rangers team take so long with the puck than the one I witnessed tonight. They needed a goal guide to show them how to shoot.

I have half of the finals predicted correctly. Hopefully Anaheim makes it 2 for 2.

If it's TB/Ducks, I realized I might not even watch the finals.

The Ducks are actually pretty fun to watch. The Ducks/Hawks series has been fun with the big, tough, hard hitting Ducks up against the finesse of the Hawks.

Would love to see Ryan Kesler score the game winner tonight.

Lightning/Hawks for the Cup. Thinking about making an 18 hour drive to catch a game.
