Since the NFL Draft is just around the corner ( 1st Round is on Thursday, Rounds 2 + 3 are on Friday and Rounds 4 to 7 are on Saturday ) now is a good time to tell us what you want your team to do over the next few days and if this is different from what you think they will actually do.

I'll start off by looking at the ever popular Dallas Cowboys ( hold down the booing please ;) ). After using their 1st round pick in the last few drafts to build one of the NFL's best Offensive Lines ( Tyron Smith picked 9th overall in 2011, Travis Frederick picked 31st overall in 2013 and Zack Martin picked 16th overall in 2014 ) this draft should see the Cowboys focused more on shoring up their Defense.

Round One - 27 (27th overall)
Round Two - 28 (60th overall)
Round Three - 28 (91st overall)
Round Four - 28 (127th overall)
Round Five - 27 (163rd overall)
Round Seven - 19 (236th overall) – from San Diego Chargers
Round Seven - 26 (243rd overall) – from Baltimore Ravens

Some Mock Drafts have the Cowboys possibly trading up in the 1st round to grab a replacement for RB DeMarco Murray (  Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley are 2 names mentioned ) but I don't see that happening. I think Dallas might grab a RB in the 2nd or 3rd round or they might just go with former 1st round pick Darren McFadden as their # 1 RB. I think they know that they will certainly lose some production from the RB position this season but hope that the combo of McFadden, Lance Dunbar and Julius Randle ( and possibly a rookie ) will still put up some decent numbers behind that great O-Line.

For their 1st pick I think Dallas will be looking at 2 positions - DE / DT and CB. There are some good players that might still be there at # 27 - CB Marcus Peters, DT Malcom Brown, DE Alvin Dupree, DE Shane Ray, CB Byron Jones, CB Kevin Johnson so I see Dallas grabbing one of these guys. Since I'm hoping that CB Morris Claiborne ( 6th pick overall in 2012 ) finally stays healthy and plays like a lot of draft experts thought he would I'm hoping that Dallas uses that 27th overall pick on either a DE or a DT. This could also be a year that good ol' Jerrah decides to trade out of the 1st round and pick up a couple of 2nd round picks along the way.

Alot of suspects are going to drop yet have top-end talent. Somebody is going to get lucky with Shane Ray. I am not so sure about Randy Gregory for a bunch of reasons.

And Leoll (WTF kind of name is that!!!!!!!) Collins (T, LSU) is perhaps the biggest story of a tankjob in NFL draft history. He has been questioned by police, today, about a murder involving what may have been his pregnant girlfriend. This is shit that reality TV couldn't come up with.

It's La'el which still sounds like a European Porn star. Anyway - all this murder stuff is going to keep him away from the draft.

from cbssports.com:

LSU OT La'el Collins is reportedly leaving Chicago for Baton Rouge, La., on Wednesday in an effort to clear his name from the murder investigation involving his former girlfriend, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter and NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

Collins is not considered a suspect in the case, according to Baton Rouge Police, but has been requested to provide additional information. Collins' attorney, Jim Boren, said Tuesday he has done everything the police have requested to help prove Collins was not involved in the case.

"We took the investigation seriously," Boren said from his offices Tuesday. "We've tried to rule him out as a suspect. We're going to provide that information to the police, and ultimately (Collins) will sit down and talk to them. But the timing is poor.

"We have identified where La'el was the day the lady was murdered to establish he was nowhere around," Boren told ESPN. "We have offered to give names, witnesses who can vouch for his whereabouts that day until after the woman's body was discovered. We believe that when [police] have verified that information, that they will rule him out as a suspect in the homicide, just as I believe he should be."

Senior NFL Columnist Pete Prisco has Collins as the No. 9 overall prospect in the draft and projects the Giants taking him ninth in the first-round of the draft Thursday.

Here's the latest crazy trade rumour concerning Philly and Mariota:

- Philly trades Bradford plus other future picks to Cleveland for Cleveland's 2015 1st round picks ( # 12 and # 19 )
- Philly then trades those 2 Cleveland picks plus their own 1st round pick ( # 20 ) and 2nd round pick ( # 52 ) to Tennessee for the 2nd overall pick

Looks like Jacksonville may take WR Amari Cooper which likely means no WR in the 1st round for the Raiders who will likely select DL Leonard Williams.   Crabtree better f'ing well do something this season.

My team is the Chiefs and I'm hoping they draft OL or a 3-4 DE. Would be happy with a safety if Landon Collins drops that far.

Dontari Poe is the next top talent they'll want to run out of town and not re-sign, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them take a Nose Tackle.

I'm nervous they'll take Dorial Green-Beckhum which would be Jon Baldwin all over again.
