Patriots a 3 point favorite. Your thoughts, etc. For me it is this simple. The teams that have beaten New England in the playoffs (Ravens, Giants, Broncos) all had/have great defenses. Not the case here.

I don't see the Patriots losing or this even being close. That line will change as all the money goes to NE.

The Packers didn't make the Super Bowl and their fans are currently in a state of rage and panic about the collapse of the team yesterday and the uncertain the team faces unless the defensive problems are solved. Regarding the Super Bowl, I think the Patriots are a worthy 3 point favorite. They've been there as an organization enough times and this group of players has been there recently enough that none of them will get caught up in the hype that surrounds the game and has undone so many contenders. Atlanta definitely can win, but New England is the likely winner.

No matter what receivers Brady has, he turns them all into stars. Is it him or Coach hoody? A combination of both? Just incredible. I hate them. Not as much as the Cowboys but close.

Falcons lose late on a controversial call.

People may still bet the Pats at -3 but at +3.5 or +4 there is perceived 'value' on Atlanta. You would be getting one of the top 5 offenses of the past 40 years with more than a field goal.

That line will change as all the money goes to NE.Like I said in another thread ,win or lose ,the Brady lead Patriots are always involved in a close game in the Superbowls. The biggest point differential was only 4 points. Atlanta's defense is young and they are prone to making mistakes but they are super fast . Brady is a stationary QB so game might depend on whose line will hold up.

Amazing stat The Brady/Belichick 'Patriots' have been to 6 Super Bowls. They have never scored in the first quarter in any of those 6 games.

This has been the least hyped Superbowl in recent memory no buzz or no juice at all and this is all Aaron Rodgers fault for eliminating the Giants and Cowboys.

I live in Houston and it just doesn't feel like the Super Bowl is happening here. The only reminder is driving through downtown and seeing the DirectTV blimp overhead all week along with a few hovering helicopter and planes pulling banners.
