He will probably do some impressive things down there.

He's better for the college game. Young kids and he will only have them for 2 to 4 years.

Beej with the Fake News as this didn't actually happen. UCLA wants him reportedly to replace Jim Mora Jr, who failed at another job.

UCLA is a job every coach will fail at; The academic standards are too high and UCLA can’t compete with USC for talent. Not to mention the cost of living is Westwood is out of control, no good assistants would want to deal with that.

If UCLA is going to make the big leap, it needs to figure out how to improve its on campus practice and training facilities in a way that makes sense financially and takes into account that getting additional land from off campus is not happening.

I would like to see the Bruins make a comeback. Mora, Jr. is nepotism at it's finest. He is a turd.

I don’t believe Troy would move the needle it’s been so long since he played there nobody would care.

The problem is UCLA has high academic standards due to it being a public school and it struggles to get top level recruits. Chip really needs to focus his attention on the private religious high schools in SoCal and stress the value of a good education to these parents that are already forking over major dough for their kids to attend private high school.
