My point was the current Super teams have 3 stars maybe 4. Those 80s teams were stacked and had stacked benches (6 less teams will do that), but NOW super teams are ruining the game.

The Lakers really? Bryant plus 3 guys at the end of their careers. Recognizable names don't constitute a "super team".

The Lakers teams in the 80's predated Kobe. They were stacked. 8 deep with very good players.

The difference between now and the 80's was that there were several teams. Now, there are 2. I give the Warriors credit. To play this deep this many years in a row is quite a feat. I would have made the move to get KD as well. I am just thinking about the overall health of the game. 4 years in a row with the same teams? I think this might be the last one though. James may move on and the number of games the Warriors are playing every year might finally catch up to them. I think.

If you have 3 superstars and an All Star on your team, you should win. LeBron has been a one man show.

Kareem was a great player but didn't have anywhere near the skills that LBJ has. It isn't close. LBJ can literally do everything. Kareem was a post player who lived off of an amazing hook shot that no one could block. He was also a skilled rebounder and solid defender. A top 10 guy to be certain. Nowhere near LBJ or Michael though.

LBJ can be your point guard, post player and 3 point shooter. Whatever it takes, he can do it. Kareem didn't have anywhere near that versatility. Also, Kareem never took a team on his back alone and got them to the finals. Even in Milwaukee he has Oscar. He was a great player. No doubt.

I now put LBJ ahead of Michael. It is just amazing to watch him get these stiffs into the finals all on his own basically. 8 straight years in the finals. The amount of games he has played is unreal and he doesn't get easy minutes. He is always the other teams focal point. Yet, he still manages to get unreal numbers.

Kareem not only scored, rebounded, defended, but he's also the best passing big-man in the history of basketball. He's #42 all time in assists as a CENTER...
He's also was in the top 5 in MVP voting in 15 of his 20 seasons...

Lebron James as a forward/guard/center/whatever he wants to be is #11 for assists all time and his career is not yet 20 seasons long.  How many years do you think LBJ has been top 5 in MVP voting?
Just cannot figure out your logic on this.
