Figuring they haven't sissified the product enough, now the NFL, or certain teams, is going to feature male dancers alongside the female cheerleaders. Between all the wife-beating felons, pissing on the flag, the concussion-induced suicides, and the slow and steady SJW-creep, remind me again why you guys watch this shit? https://fox6now.com/2018/08/07/nfls-first-male-dancers-will-hit-the-sidelines-this-season/

I don't even know what to say to this except how long will it be before some fag camera operator zooms in on some dancers boner as an 80 yard pass and run play happens on the field in the dying seconds of an 82- 81 game where a pass interference penalty was called on every single play of the game including punts FG's and running plays.

This will last until a cheerleader guy throws a cheerleader girl in the air and misses catching her and she ends up with a broken neck and sues the NFL for millions.

The Timberwolves have a mixed gender hip hop dance crew and I'm fairly certain some other NBA teams do as well. This is hardly revolutionary within major pro sports and certainly nothing for any purist to get upset about.

This has been a staple of cheerleading for like 100 years and I can never remember that happening, especially with a huge lawsuit against anyone. If high school girls can be thrown around with impunity, I think professional cheerleaders can too.

I fully agree 100% with what you are saying. But do you have any doubts that if there is a first for all of this it would happen on National TV and probably while the performers are on screen? You say it's never happened, I say it's due. Because knowing the NFL, they'll make these performers go in all kinds of weather and that will create either slippery or overall wet conditions.

"There's a REVOLUTION going on in men's cheerleading!" The Baltimore Ravens had male cheerleaders as far back as 2002. I don't keep tabs on cheerleading squads, so not sure if they kept it going. Yes, that's the NFL and the crew that brought us the amazingness of Stacy Keibler. It's a more common thing in college football, too. For instance, Texas always loved to rag Texas A&M for having male cheerleaders. Other sports have had "dance teams" or "spirit teams" featuring guys. The Marlins famously had the "Manatees"-- a buncha' fat guys who would get jiggy with it. As for "why you watch this shit". I was a huge football fan, growing up, but in my adult life have become a casual bandwagoner. Due to "life things", but I also got sick of the growing obsession with fantasy football.I used to live and die with my Local NFL Team, but my interest was greatly strained in the 2008 season. I like watching college games, because the offenses are so varied... but my alma mater doesn't have a football team, so I feel like the solo weirdo watching people at the public pool.

George W. Bush went to Yale. Regarding the whole Texas vs. Texas A&M thing, those schools students alums, and sports fans would argue over what day it was. As for the male cheerleader thing, I think every school has them in some capacity, certainly in major college sports. The deal with Texas A&M, which has conventional female cheerleaders and danceline members, is that it for a long time it only had male cadets in this capacity (it began as a military school and still is to a great extent even though it now has non cadet students). These cadets are technically called "Yell Leaders" and actually direct the fans in a series of cheers and chants that the fans partake in to a nearly unanimous extent in a manner quite unlike what is seen at most schools. Longhorns fans had a field day ripping on the "ugly cheerleaders" and the Aggies fans reacted with their typical lack of a sense of humor. Last edited on Wed Aug 8th, 2018 09:50 pm by tamalie |

Still can't believe that Nicky is the Semen Squad member that made it big, because Kenny was better than any of the young wrestlers they brought up in the couple of classes after Batista/Cena/Lesnar/Orton.

Kenny was their #1 prospect and I remember everyone immediately recoiled when they saw he was put in the Squad. It still wasn't the kiss of death though because every step of the way he was expected to get repackaged and be the break-out star. I can't remember how many rumors I heard about this being the week that Kenny rejects the Squad and turns face and becomes a serious wrestler. Then after his release he was supposed to do huge things in the indies. None of that ever happened and from what I understand he never wanted to wrestle a full-time indy schedule and for a few years there rarely tried to get booked period. He lost all his passion for wrestling. In the past few years, he's made more frequent appearances but usually remains in his Squad gimmick wrestling comedy matches. Mikey Mondo, who I saw come up when he was very young as Livewire on the NY indy scene, actually hustled and got himself a decent indy run, including an impressive stint in ROH that ended with injury. But now Mondo is back to doing the Squad gimmick with Kenny and wrestling sporadically too. At least he had a little time doing his thing, Kenny never had it.
