A couple 'playoff' type matchups Patriots at Jags, Vikings at Packers (sort of) -- no line on Packers/Vikings or Titans/Texans -- we have banged-up QBs already. That didn't take long.

Baltimore (1) at Cincy
Indy at Washington (6)
Carolina at Atlanta (5.5)
Minnesota at Green Bay (NL)
Chargers (7.5) at Buffalo
Houston at Tennessee (NL)
Kansas City at Pittsburgh (5)
Miami at NY Jets (3)
Philly (3) at Tampa
Cleveland at New Orleans (9)
Arizona at Rams (12.5)
Detroit at SF (5.5)
New England (1.5) at Jacksonville
Oakland at Denver (5.5)
NY Giants at Dallas (3)
Seattle at Chicago (3.5)

Vikings-Packers is earlier than I'd prefer, but better now than when the weather goes bad. It took the Packers until the second half to get going. The Vikes looked shaky at some moments and strong at others. It doesn't matter how ugly it gets, as long as the Vikes win.

Goddamn Steelers have to play better than they did against the Clowns last week if they want to defeat Kansas City.

The game I am most looking forward to is Carolina vs Atlanta, should the Panthers win that would give them a 2 game lead over the Falcons early on in the season, and the saints looked shaky as well and better not sleep on the Clowns.

New England at Jacksonville should be a fun game, if the damnable hurricane doesn't dump tons of rain on gameday.

Teams that are 'away' after playing an overtime game 0 wins - 10 losses straightup and against the spread last 30 years. I consider Miami in the same boat also to be honest.

KC always struggles in Pitt. I have that penciled as one of their losses on the road.

I expect the Lions will get torched this week in SF, but still holding out hope for coach Patricia.

Rodgers is playing today for the Packers.

The NFC North just got more interesting.

Lions made it interesting in the 4th qtr but came up short. It's amazing there were about 6 plays where Stafford had open receivers and he overthrew ALL of them! I do see some promising signs of a running game, but I think the Lions set the NFL record for longest streak without a 100 yard rusher in a game.

Well I was obviously wrong about Pitt-KC. Didn't figure Mahomes would go apeshit on the Steeler D.

So how do you know when a team sucks hard?
A player retired at halftime.
Vontae Davis of the Bills apparently.
