There was a time when Jerry Jones had no patience with the head coaching position but along came this internal hire, Jason Garrett.

Rumored to be 'on the hot seat' for forever but Garrett seems to pull through. Whether or not the team will ever 'go anywhere' for more than one season at a time, remains to be seen.

Useless. Good clapper but they need a better coach to get to the next level (whatever level that ends up being by the time the season ends).

He must have pictures of Jerry Jones ass raping cattle to still have a job.
Even rossi could do better. Especially if the whole team were homos.  Oh wait it's the Cowboys. They are homos.
Team motto : I don't know why I can't just quit you, or something like that.

Dr. Jeff of all people pointed this out today: Of the seven coaches JJ has hired, only Jimmy Johnson and Chan Gailey went on to be a head coach elsewhere. The only people who would take the position of head coach for this team are those coming out of retirement who take the job out of boredom (i.e. Switzer and Parcells), or those who for whatever reason can't get hired elsewhere.

Dallas hasn't beaten a team with a winning record this year. Smoke and Mirrors.

This is kind of poor analysis to be honest
he hired seven coaches and two came out of retirement(Switzer and parcells) and when they where done went back to retirement , and two of the coaches came up thru the Cowboys system(Dave Campo, Jason Garett) and three coaches who hired outside the org got head coaching job again ( Jimmy,Chan,Wade)
so really only one coach hasn't gotten a head coaching job anywhere else(Campo)
so out of the seven 3 got head coaching jobs , one is still employed as the head coach and is rumored if he gets fired to get a giants head coaching gig, and 2 even in there death bed can still get s job if they wanted too to run a university(Switzer) and NFL team(Parcells)

I'd like to see the Cowboys go another direction and completely opposite (Jim Harbaugh)

The team will get to the post-season again and go nowhere. I don't know how long you can keep doing that.

When they landed Dak that was the opportunity to follow the 'Seattle Blueprint' - QB on the cheap, build the rest of the team. Didn't work.

The worst head coach in the history of the NFL to have a run of more than 5 years with the same team. He literally does not seem to understand basic strategy. In the Bills game, he wasted 3 time outs at the end of the first half and didn't seem at all interested in scoring a TD. Let the clock run to attempt a field goal. Had all the time in the world. He also seems to do nothing during a game except clap. He never talks to either the O or D units. Just seems to be there.

This is what I wrote on the NFL thread on Thursday:

The Cowboys are now 0-5 against teams with winning records in 2019. The biggest thing I took away from this game is when Dallas scored the TD in the 3rd quarter (that was reversed on replay), coach Jason Garrett immediately held up two fingers, the two point conversion signal. It would of been a 10 point game in the 3rd if they just kicked the pat, but dumbshit Garrett wanted to go for two. He's legitimately one of the worst NFL head coaches I've ever seen and I hope he NEVER gets fired.

I thought about Harbaugh myself, then realized it would never work. Think about it. Neither guy can get along with anyone that they can't control. Imagine Jerry and Jim trying to get along with each other?!

Another ‘Garrett Thought’

Even when things are going well and the season is good, injuries break their way, etc - they just plain can’t ‘get over the hump’ with Garrett
