If, for whatever reason he doesn't play for the Pats again next year, or retire, he'll be a New York Giant.

The Chargers and Colts are both good bets at 7-1.

There's no way in hell he plays for the Chargers. One, QB isn't their problem, the problem is the entire organization is a dumpster fire and they play 16 away games a season, no way in hell he would go get involved in that mess..

My guess is that he'll stay in NE, and a big reason he will is because he doesn't want his last pass to be remembered as a pick-6!!!

I just don't see where he goes that makes sense.

Now if you believe Josh McDaniels gets a head coaching gig elsewhere that opens the door. Theoretically.

McDaniels get the Pats job. I think that is why he stuck around as OC as long as he has this time.

I'm telling you, if he doesn't stay or quit, he'll be a Giant.

At this point I think the only opening left is in Cleveland unless one of the remaining playoff teams fires it coach or has its coach quit or retire. Josh McDaniels isn't a Browns candidate as far as I know, so there's no head coaching spot for him in 2020 at this point.

He failed as Denver's head coach and wasn't very good last season with New England's offense. If I was Cleveland I would look at Greg Roman,Stefanski, or Eric Bienemy before McDaniel.

Cleveland chose a Minnesota Vikings guy to coach them according to the NFL Network a minute ago. Stefanski? Was only half paying attention...

He's got work to do. According to Dee Ford they were expecting some special blocking scheme to stop the pass rush and they were surprised they did nothing different from the previous week. Also on stopping Dalvin Cook the Viking formations told them which direction they were going to run in.
He's got good weapons on offense in Clevleland. He better fix that O-Line.

Wishful thinking/wet dream: Bears

Put a real QB at the helm and the Bears would go deep into the playoffs. The defense is top tier and the other glaring weakness (tight end) could be addressed via free agency; Eric Ebron anyone?

It wont happen because the current admin is stuck to Trubisky like white on rice and will live and die with him; they expended far too much draft capital to admit their mistake and move on.

At best it would be a Montana with the Chiefs situation, where he still has enough left in the tank to generate excitement and get a few wins, but where he's also injury-plagued with his best days clearly behind him.

He'll stick with an organization that will do anything to win.

Houston Astros
