Didn't discover Vin Scully until about 2004, but when I did, I'd turn on random Dodger games as background noise. "Friends, when I was visiting with you last night, we talked about Hee Seop Choi and his watermelon farm..."

I used to be a big Joe Buck fan, circa 2001 or so. He used to take the inane comments from Tim McCarver and re-purpose or play off of them in an intelligent manner. But I think FOX began using him too much and he got burned out quickly. Now he's just Some Guy.

I actually like Dan Fouts, when he pops up on random NFL games, nowadays.

Bob Walk is a favorite of mine, but he takes a LOT of getting used to, and is a total homer for the Pirates. Best line he ever had was when the Pirates were getting killed 18-2 or something, on the road. Pirates push across a run in the top of the 9th to make it 18-3. Walk deadpans: "well... nobody up in the Pirates bullpen".
