Couple questions: Who won it last year and who has won it the most times?

Fresno State won last year. They were a big "Cinderella" story.

USC has the most all time by far with 12. LSU and Texas are tied for second now with 6 a piece.  LSU has gotten all of theirs in the last 2 decades, while Texas has spread theirs out over the last 60 years (with 2 in this decade).

Arizona State is next with 5 and they were the team Texas defeated (twice) to get to the finals of the CWS this season.

Texas has the most CWS appearances with 33, I think.

LSU brings in the most fans by far.  LSU AVERAGED over 9,500 fans in 42 home games this year (their single game record is a little over 9,600). That is ludicrous when you think about it. Almost all schools record annual losses on their baseball programs, but it's almost religious down here.
