I don't love them but I like them.  I have their big box set "Clash on Broadway" which has a bunch of nice demos, B-sides, alt. lyrics, etc.  I don't think they're the end-all and be-all of punk but they're a good band and Joe Strummer was immensely talented.

Huge fan, easily in my top 5 music list.

Love to get B-Sides and bootlegs like the awesome instrumental version of "Overpowered by Funk". I think I got a DVD full of bootleg mp3s. And check out "Straight to Hell" from SNL on your favorite facetube.

Strummer was a really weird person,  just listen to his ramblings during concerts. Yet, I like the atmosphere in the band.

I like the way they incorporated musical styles into their repertoire. I know a Berlin ~1980 hardcore band that has done a version of Armagideon Time which sounds really weird as they adapted only parts of it. But because of that it sounds unique, it is basically an import of a foreign style where the original itself was the import of a foreign style.

So many good tracks it's hard to create a "top" list, but some of my faves are:

Guns of Brixton
Magnificent Seven
Clash City Rockers
Spanish Bombs
Lost in the Supermarket
Janie Jones
Garageland
Train in Vain
White Man in Hammersmith Palais
Straight to Hell

and the radio hits:

Should I Stay or Should I Go
Rock the Casbah
