Yep Happy 4th of July. I'm going to my sister's house and eat some BBQ. I don't drink and my sister only lives a mile away from where I do. So driving safely isn't really a concern. Might partake in a little bit of herb if my sister and brother in law have any. Will probably kick their respective asses at Scrabble. I always do. I think my record against them in 3 way scrabble is something like 28-4.

I did what any self respecting American does on July 4th. Went to the Ameristar Casino and gambled.

Low-key day of BBQ on the patio and getting dragged to see "Bad Teacher".

Bad Teacher wasn't that bad, but could've bee so much better.

My kiddo was at his Mom's yesterday, so my fiance' and I slept in.  I haven't slept until 11am in ages, so that was nice.

Got up and played with the dogs for a bit, played guitar for a bit and then around 5pm, realized my AC had gone out.  Great.

So we opened the windows and stayed out on the back deck while we grilled and had my brother's family over.  Then, when I was too drunk to handle the heat, we went back over to his place to smoke some weed and watch Raw.

By the time we got home around 11:30, it had cooled off quite a bit and we were able to sleep comfortably in the house.

Made the call about an hour ago to have an AC repairmen out to check things out.

the 17 yr old nephew kept pushing the 11 yr olds buttons, and finally I told the kid to take him out, which he did by kicking him in the knees twice, and when he went down jumped on him and started punching him in the face.

My sister and BIL even mocked him for getting his ass kicked by a kid 6 yrs younger
