Gonna be spending nearly a week in chicago. Aside from the Architecture cruise, Wrigley, the Zoo and the Aquarium, anything I should make a point not to miss?

Also looking for any decent craft beer bars or jazz clubs. Staying a couple days off the mile and a couple in Itasca with relatives.

*Hoping these are BlueThunder approved areas.*

If you have kids, Brookfield Zoo, just outside of Chicago, is a must.

Navy Pier isn't that bad to visit either.  If you have time, check out the Museum of Science and Industry

If you are into the boat riding thing, the Wendella boat ride tours are really cool.

There are great Jazz clubs in a community called Englewood. It's a must place to visit.

Okay, Mike will certainly agree. If you're a burrito eater, La Pasadita is a must. You'll never have one like that. There are three of them on one block. I don't understand the reasoning behind that one.

If you're into Microbrews, there is a Chicago original called Goose Island. It's got some decent eats, but there beer is pretty good. It's near downtown on the near northside.

Oh, if you're into ethnic eating, Chicago has a great Greektown and Chinatown. Can't go wrong with either The Parthenon or Greek Islands.

Cabrini Green is no more.  They tore it down to "gentrify" the area.
