srossi wrote: Asia Argento, one of the actresses who took down Harvey Weinstein, has now been outed herself as a sexual predator.  In 2013, she had a sexual relationship with a 17-year old actor named Jimmy Bennett who she had known since he was 7 and viewed her as a mother figure.  Once the Weinstein story broke, Bennett sued her for infliction of emotional distress, lost wages, assault, and battery.  According to private documents, he claimed his "feelings about the incident were brought to the forefront recently when Ms. Argento took the spotlight as one of the many victims of Harvey Weinstein."

Unfortunately for Argento, they had sex in California where the age of consent is 18 (actually unusually high since it's 16 or 17 almost everywhere else).  She paid him $380,000 to keep quiet, but documents and settlement arrangements have now been leaked.

Rose McGowan, who befriended Argento over their shared abuse at the hands of Weinstein, wrote that "My heart is broken" after learning of Argento's own shady history.

As this saga continues to unfold, Argento not only denied ever having sex with him but blamed her dead boyfriend, Anthony Bourdain, for the pay-off. She claimed that he's the one who paid the kid "out of compassion".  However today TMZ has unearthed photos of Argento and the kid naked in bed together, as well as text messages where she flat-out says they had sex, so...

I am not unhappy this woman is being exposed as a lying cunt, regardless of what happened to her with Weinstein.

Just kidding, they won’t mention this one.
Moonves is done, forced to resign today.

Norm McDonald tried to defend Louis CK’s comeback (as well as Roseanne’s “mistake”) and wound up having his Tonight Show appearance cancelled. This is beyond ridiculous.

Norm went on the Howard Stern show to try to explain himself. That kills me. How does Stern get to be a platform in all this? Does nobody remember what his show was for 25 plus years? I seem to remember him berating women to take their tops off and whatnot. If they refused he kept on them. How about that time he lied to Carmen Electra about all the other female celebrities that had used that big vibrator or whatever it was he kept in his studio so she'd use it on the air? Pure Weinstenesque move there. Do any tapes exist of his show from the late 80s? I mean for everything he pulled over the years you'd expect him to have to fade off into obscurity or something. Yet he's the platform to have some sort of reasoned debate about this?

His "tapes team" have spent the last 5-6 years scrubbing those tapes clean..editing out the N-word, any use of "retard", cutting out "offensive" stuff..it's sad how he sold out..

So Daniel Carver never existed??

EDIT:  As for Norm, who's about the only comedian who makes me laugh, really laugh, and who has balls the size of Texas, I'm getting a little leery about his apology tour.  I mean, he immediately paid a visit to the harridans on The View?  And although they were actually more sympathetic to him than I'd have expected, I was really hoping he'd tell Fallon and the rest to go fuck themselves.

This.  What the fuck does he have to apology for anyway?

In the case of Louie CK, he did more than "make a mistake", so granted Norm could've walked that back a bit and changed it to "He did some awful things but does that mean he has to die and never be seen again?"

As far as Chris Hardwick goes, as far as I know he's been completely exonerated or there's never been a shred of proof about anything with him.  And Roseanne tweeted something stupid and Norm doesn't need to apologize for telling people to get over it.

He's basically a comedian sticking up for 3 comedian friends.  Why shouldn't he?  Comedy is the last bastion of free speech and they need to stick together.  Even super liberal Bill Maher knows that this is his livelihood that's being affected by the far-left and has defended comedians at every turn and refuses to play campuses because of the triggered generation.

I haven't listened to Stern in 15 years.  Was he actually getting on Norm for his comments or just providing a platform for him to say what he wanted to say?  As liberal as Stern has gotten politically, it would be heart-breaking to find out that he's actually taking the left's side on something like this.  That would pretty much be the nail in the coffin of my teen years.  I mean, he HAS to still tell some sexist and racist jokes every once in a while, right?  That was the whole show!

From what I've read, if you just start listening to the tapes and never listened to Howard in  his glory years then no, Daniel never existed. They stopped calling him and they cut out his appearances on the classic tapes..
BTW, Gary the Retard is now "Gary the Conqueror" and Wendy the Retard is now "Wendy the slow adult"..

That's fucking sad.

But the same thinking will have all the history books written before 1999 changed eventually too.

Longtime Mavericks' team photographer Danny Bollinger was fired Friday following an investigation into several allegations of workplace sexual harassment, Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News reports.
According to The News, the team opened its investigation into Bollinger's alleged misconduct days after the NBA released the findings of a 43-page report into previously reported sexual harassment claims within the team's business office.
Bollinger was told to return home from the team's eight-day trip to China on Thursday after the investigation provided evidence of inappropriate actions, The News reports. On Friday, Bollinger had a meeting with some of the Mavericks' executive leadership and was fired.
Multiple anonymous female employees accused Bollinger of making lewd comments in the workplace along with propositioning co-workers for sex and showing inappropriate photos of Mavericks' dancers and fans.

On Friday, commissioner Adam Silver said the league was already aware of the allegations against Bollinger and it was, "monitoring how they are responding to them." Silver added that the allegations against Bollinger were not mentioned in the report from Sept. 19 because investigators chose "not to make public allegations that were brought by employees who chose to remain anonymous."
Bollinger, 50, worked in the Mavericks' marketing department for more than 18 years, spanning Mark Cuban's ownership of the team. A 2002 Sports Illustrated story details how Bollinger, a longtime friend of Cuban, introduced the Mavericks owner to his future wife, Tiffany Stewart, in 1997.

Not at all.  He just wanted to give him a platform to fully explain himself.  Basically, Norm said that the print interview was condensed and made him look bad.  He stated that he wanted to put Roseanne in touch with Louis CK because he was another person whose career was completely destroyed and he might be able to give her some perspective.  He also said that what happened to the victims (in CK's case since Roseanne didn't molest anymore or whip out her tits or anything ) was infinitely worse.  He wasn't defending them but thought that perhaps their whole lives shouldn't be ruined if they could redeem themselves but that isn't up to him.  He said he won't do print interviews anymore.  BTW - Adam Sandler won't do print interviews either.
