Happened last week, Woman decided to stand right on the tracks to photograph a steam train excursion, was more concerned about her phone than she was the huge assed train barreling down on her, she lost and the train won.

This was just up the road from me. It was fatal, so no matter how "dumb" we might think this is, I don't feel it's cool to laugh at someone's death.

That train is a pretty big deal. Tickets are limited and they hold a lottery each spring.

The only thing I can think of, and this is a stretch, is that she was using an actual camera and was taking a picture while looking through the viewer, which may have distorted her perception of how close she actually was.   But really, I'm at a loss as well.
