Nope.
Garland did not even get an up and down vote.   Elections mean nothing when a politicians circumvent the system like we saw with Garland and now Kavenaugh.  So, I totally disagree with your premise.
This current bullshit began with not even giving Garland a vote.
I agree and I said it was bullshit.  However, this is the real world and the R's have total control.  They will get a vote. The D's did not and the R's were scum bags to not take a vote.   Whether you like it or not that is completely irrelevant.
What premise do you disagree with?

So as we go back and forth with this through our lifetimes, real wages will continue to decline, consolidation of $$$ will move to a smaller %, and more Americans will realize how fucked they are when they figure out they can't retire till they die. Neither party will give a shit.

This is the truth.
Completely agree.  The flip side will eventually happen.  It might be 3 years from now, 15 or 25.  Who knows?  It will happen though.

Please don't tell me you think life is fair.  It is not.

What the fuck are you talking about?
The whole system is corrupt. It has nothing to do with fairness.

Exactly. That is my point. The way the system works, the R's can confirm whoever they want because they have total control. Yes, it was unfair (as you pointed out as some type of odd rebuttal against a point I wasn't even making) but tough shit. That is how things work. They are going to get their way imo. I am sorry you don't like it. Honestly, I don't like it but I understand there isn't shit I can do about it in the end.

Now, hit me with another Wrong! or Nope!

Oh and I have dropped the odds to 90% from 95%. The thing with saying he didn't know what one chick was going to say until he read it in the New Yorker and then some reporters got texts that indicate he did know and that his buds were trying to convince her to be quiet. Perjury could be an issue.

However, I think the GOP will blissfully ignore it and confirm him.

No, I will just hit you with you are a complete jackass who is saying one thing that got your nose slapped and then you want to change the whole debate.

You are stuck on this “tough shit” response mingled with elections matter which has been proven false.   Everything is corrupt but elections matter....keep singing that tune to yourself.

Keep talking in circles and you may eventually convince yourself you know one iota of what you are trying to say, because nobody else is getting it.

I said they can get him through because they have total control.  How could I be any fucking more clear than that?  You are butt hurt for some reason that I can’t fathom.
Read the first sentence.  Then read it over again. Then again.  That is MY point.
Come on.  Hit me with more nonsense.

Work me with me now.  I will go slow for you OK?  The thread is odds that Kavanaugh will be confirmed.  I gave answer and a reason for my answer. Now, what in particular didn’t you understand?  What was so controversial or idiotic about my post?  Copy and paste the parts that got your little self so upset?

I guess my last comment on this will be to ask you how exactly you disproved my statement that elections matter? Can’t wait to read the brilliance.

Boy, this Ford's story gets less credible by the day. I can't believe there were people stupid enough to buy this at face value. Ford's story was fishy from the beginning, but the third accuser with the creepy porn lawyer had such an outrageous story, only a lording would have believed this. Now that it all seems that she's full of shit, the goalposts have been moved to Kavanaugh's demeanor. Sadly, it seems that Faggy Flake has bought into this.

BT, so you think the odds of him being confirmed are?
I am at 85%.  Although the church of councils or something like that said he should drop out.
Still, the R's control everything and when you do, you get your way.  That is how life works.  Even if some have temper tantrums over it, the simple fact doesn't change.  Yes, elections matter.
