I'm about 65%. Yeah, the R's control everything, but there's too many RINOs. Murkowski, Collins, and Flake are questionable. Flake is a total fag. I mean, this guy was all set to vote yeah until he was mobbed by the whiney broads and their supposed stories. He voted yes with the condition of an FBI report. Now he's critical of Kavanaugh's tone. If this fruity caved to a bunch of emotional broads, he'd shit himself at the sight of Putin. He's actually thinking of running for president.

If the three above vote no, it's 48 Reps voting yeah. There's a good chance that Heitkampf and manchin will vote yeah, seeing they are in red states. If they do, it could be 50-50 and Pence breaks the tie. Maybe Tester and Donnelly vote for Kav.

Done deal.

McConnell already wanting to schedule vote for Friday which means he thinks strongly he has the votes.   Flake is definitely confirming.  I think Flake just wanted to be seen as the person pushing for FBI investigation even though it is a keystone-cop investigation.  He gained political points for the future as a centrist of sorts.

Had the GOP brought Graland in for hearings and not confirmed him. Kavanaugh could have easily been sitting on the court today.

Looks like the GOP will get what it wants - no Garland and Kavanaugh confirmed.  Hardball.  I think the country crossed a line with all of this.  We will know soon enough.

That's  good point about Flake. if he has other aspirations, he could go on record and say that this FBI investigation helped clear any doubts they had and helped clear Kavanaugh's name as a predator.

Well of course.  Your rant about him being intimidated by women in an elevator and what would he do when faced with Putin is such ridiculous Trump bubble nonsense, it's embarrassing (not to mention that no president in history has ever kissed as much Russian ass as Trump, who actually is quoted as saying "I liked Putin and I really hope he liked me too" like a 12-year old girl).  You should be smarter than that.  You know how politics work, right?  I think this will backfire as many Republicans already hate him and liberals wanted Flake to come out stronger against Kavanaugh, but Flake is pretty transparent in his machinations.  He couldn't be clearer that he's trying to appease all sides and make a name for himself ahead of a presidential run.

Yep, Flake has big aspirations and he appeased both sides with these slick moves.

Well, one thing I do know is that you can't outDemocrat a Democrat. If by miracle he beats Trump in a primary, Dems will appreciate his stance against Trump, but they won't vote for him. The deplorable will stay home. McCain was always the darling of the Dems, but they opted for Obama and hardcore conservatives stayed home.

A true politician doesn't bend when confronted by a total stranger. He projected weakness. Yeah, Putin and others are a bit more intimidating than some broad in an elevator. By pursuing energy independence, Trump is hurting Russia. Trump has also defied Putin twice when he hit Syria. For the record, I was against those two attacks.

Again, it had nothing to do with a woman yelling at him in an elevator.  This was clearly his grandstanding plan all along.  You're so trapped in the bubble it's almost comical.

He’s in, 50-48. The 4th Amendment was cool while it lasted.
