This is ummmm....not good. Nice to see Miley getting billed ahead of Santana. Why? I don't really know.

Santana, Robert Plant, and Gary Clark Jr. are literally the only 3 acts there that I’d ever consider paying to see. And you’d have to pay me to watch the others.

John Fogerty was old when I was in grade school.

Holy hell this is bad. But if I were there I would totally pop for Melanie if she sang Brand New Key.

For the demographic the promoters are aiming at, this is perfectly fine as a diverse festival lineup with some major league superstars, some big in their genre stars, some popular names of the recent past, some young acts coming up, and a few legends solely to tie back to the original Woodstock in a quest for media attention.

The only ones I’d pay to see are Rival Sons and The Marcus King band. Marcus is a bad motherfucker...

I'm thinking that "Altamont 50" would be a better time.

So Santana is now booked for both the Bethel Woods Woodstock and the official Woodstock the same weekend?

I saw the Black Keys at the first Global Citizen Festival in Central Park, the best one headlined by Foo Fighters and Neil Young.  It was a free ticket lotto.  They were OK at best, I just don't really get modern indie rock.

Gary Clark, Jr. I saw at a free concert last year in Prospect Park and he was phenomenal.  It was a steal to see him for free because he commands a hefty ticket price at places like Radio City Music Hall and Beacon Theatre when he usually comes through NY.

I've seen Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters in 2014 at an opera house.  I had previously seen him with Band of Joy at Bowery Ballroom.  He does a few Zeppelin covers but mostly plays blues, jazz, world music, etc. now.  I've seen him twice just to say that I did but wouldn't go out of my way to see him again.

I saw Dorothy open for Halestorm and Lita Ford at a girl power show at Webster Hall in 2016.  She was fairly unmemorable as the first act of the night, but was treated well and invited to come back out to sing with both bigger acts later on.  Her voice is good.

I saw Rival Sons open for Black Sabbath in 2016 and I had heard a lot of hype about them, but to be perfectly honest I remember absolutely nothing about their set.

I think that's it.  I had the opportunity to see Greta Van Fleet right before they broke out as an early afternoon band at a metal festival, and I barely knew who they were at the time and skipped it.  I regret that now, and I wouldn't pay big money to see them at this point.  I also had the opportunity to see Fever 333 at a ton of metal festivals, they seriously get booked on every single one ever, but I've heard 2 or 3 of their songs and they're awful, so I avoid them like the plague.  I can't believe they're booked at Woodstock too.  Their agent would book them at a flee market.

Nathaniel Rateliff can put on a decent show. Ditto Bishop Briggs.

I was at that same show.  If you remember seeing a limping guy that looked like he wanted to kill a bunch of millenials because they kept bumping and pushing him while he didn't realize there wasn't a single seat to be had in the building, that was me.  Dorothy has a great voice, the songs need some help, but what she's most famous for are her really big tits that sometimes accidentally work their way into the act because she likes to sing braless.
