I’ll kick off with ‘Lincoln Logs’ as Abraham Lincoln was famously born in a log cabin.

Remember asshole Spike Lee suing when TNN was going to change their name to Spike TV because he felt they were trading on his reputation and everybody was suposedly confused in thinking he was somehow involved with the network.

Doesn't Michael Jordan have a tennis shoe named after him?

I’ve never heard that before. I’ll have to look for some of those studies.

I'm not crying conspiracy theory here, but I'm not sure that Lou Gehrig died from ALS. I believe he was misdiagnosed, that doctors eventually realised that, but the diagnosis was never changed. People with ALS live for years, albeit an uncomfortable life in a wheelchair, but they still live for years after diagnosis (Stephen Hawking, Steve Gleason, etc.).
Lou played his last game on April 30, 1939. He was officially diagnosed with ALS on June 19, 1939 on his 36th birthday. He did his famous Yankee Stadium speech on July 4, 1939 and died on July 2, 1941. Maybe the medication was just not as advanced at the time, I dunno.

Fake news.  Tommy John actually had a pulled groin.  In the '70s they didn't know the difference though.
