I've done similar things like this many times before, but these questions were somewhat different.  I always score about the same though.

Economic right +7.00, social libertarian -5.38.

I actually consider myself more an extremist on the social end than the economic end, but my answers on capital punishment and abortion always throw off my score.  If I can choose a middle-of-the road answer I do, but on tests like these where I'm forced to agree or disagree I usually agree with capital punishment and disagree with abortion, although if I was made president tomorrow I wouldn't actually do anything to change either law.

Sadly, there's not one single world leader in my quadrant on that international chart.

Well that's actually addressed in their FAQs.

Where are the right-wing social libertarians on the international chart ?
It's a good question, and we'd like to include some, but we haven't found any among the biggest internationally-known players. It 's important to remember, though, that within each quadrant there are still very sizeable variables. Some figures on the right of the chart are only of a modest authoritarian tendency.

I always end up near Nelson Mandela and the Dali Lama, so I guess I'm in good company.

I do chuckle at them placing Pope Benedict XVI on the left side of the scale. John Paul II was probably the most liberal Pope we'll ever see and he was still pretty hard to the right on most issues.

My deceased grandfather might shoot me if he knew some of my answers. He liked Lester Maddox and the only book he ever read was one condemning Lyndon Johnson.

I ended up in the Libertarian Left, not that far off from Nelson Mandela.

Pretty close to smack dead center, shading to the left. Closest is Pope Benedict XVI.

Go figure.

Based on the world leaders we're closest too, I'd say it probably means that a bunch of old hippies.
