https://nypost.com/2020/02/11/trump-deletes-tweet-calling-michael-bloomberg-a-total-racist-after-leaked-audio/

Trump tweeted out Bloomberg is racist But was deleted probably by his advisors who are like whoa what are you doing that video ties to our voting base don't let them see a more distinguished richer person playing to our ideals  and made Trump delete it.
Plus he liked stop and frisk in 2016.
But this will be interesting, if Bloomberg is smart he won't totally distance himself from those statements, if his main goal is to  be president.

Bloomberg doesn't have a chance. Democrats nationally mostly hate him, he's not even a serious contender.

If Bloomberg wins the nom, the Bernie Bros take their ball and go home. Some may even go with Trump.

There's no reason for Dems to even vote.  Trump and Bloomberg could be the same guy.  Have they ever been seen in the same place at the same time?

Lol. Slight variation in personality. That Bloomberg is hilarious at times when he calls people fat, short, and ugly. I do get what you mean.

It may not matter who the Dems run against Trump. Many voters will vote for ANYONE but Trump.

I don’t know, the left seems splintered I have a feeling a lot of Dems aren't going to vote if their person doesn’t get the nod. I also don’t think the hate for Trump is to the level the media likes to portray.

I'll tell you about my personal dealings with Mike Bloomberg. I worked for A.T.&T. for 28 years, "the phone company". I was around before the divestiture of 1984. I worked my way up from being in a manhole splicing cables for four years up to foreman and then I left the union to become a NOC manager. Back in those days you could do that without college. Anyway, my crew and I were dedicated to Merrill Lynch which some of you oldtimers may remember as one of the biggest brokerage houses on the Street of Wall. Bloomberg was building his financial network and was replacing Quotron in every last one of the brokerage houses big and small downtown. Merrill was VERY important to him. My manager and I met with Mike and his flunkies every single morning for three months. He was kind, thoughtful, respectful to EVERYBODY. He never spoke down to anybody and listened to everyone's ideas no matter how lame brained. Keep in mind he was only a mere millionaire then, but I was very impressed by the cut of his jibe.

Fast forward about four years and I decided to test the waters in the job market because even though I didn't have the education, I had the experience. I got a call from Bloomberg LP. Back in those days you had to use a headhunter to find work. Anyway, it was for an excellent gig heading up his NOC. The money was 104k which in 1990 was excellent money. Especially with me and my high school diploma. I go down there to their building on Park Avenue. The HR lady was very pleasant as HR ladies usually are and said I would be talking to eight people that day. EIGHT FUCKING PEOPLE. They start the process off with me talking to a guy who was literally in a junior technician position. Then I start working my way up. Senior tech, supervisor, associate manager, manager, assistant vice president, vice president and then finally, Mike himself. During the process, I knew the job wasn't for me. He made sure everyone was paid an excellent wage, but he owned your ass. The AVP asked me "I don't know if you're married or not but if you are forget it" "We're here up to eighty hours a week". I'm like fuck that noise money or no money. I was making much more than that between my day job and bouncing. Plus bouncing was fun. Installing CRT's wasn't. Making money was never a problem with me. But, my ego wanted to hear this from Mike himself. He comes in and gives me a warm greeting and we reminisce a whole lot and then he asks me. "Mark, do you still work for A.T.&T?" I told him yes I do. He throws his hands up in indignation and gets super pissed. He told me he can't hire me because of a non-compete agreement he had with us. He actually said "Quit now and come back to me in six months and the jobs yours". I respectfully declined. We shook hands and that was the last I ever saw of him face to face.

So, if anyone ever asked me what I think of Mike. Before he became elite level rich he was truly a humble man who had what seemed like an endless supply of good qualities. As the mayor of my city, he was a complete jerkoff.

The narrative is "Vote Blue No Matter Who"...unless you're Bernie.
Chris Matthews was losing his shit last night after he won NH.
CNN was already questioning why he won a close race, when he dominated NH in 2016, even though there's 4 times as many viable candidates running.
MSNBC:  Amy Klobuchar coming in 3rd is more important than who win the primary.

Matthews before Iowa was even more hilariously unhinged.  And watching the Bernie Bros (and there are a ton of them) shit on Matthews and the liberal media is amusing.  And all this is why the Dems don't stand a chance.  You look at the way FOX News and all the Republicans rallied around Trump as soon as it became apparent that he was the People's Choice, but the liberal media and Democrats just can't do that, their egos are too big.  Trump literally calls people's wives fat and ugly, and these powerful people say to him, "Yes sir, she is.  May I suck your cock now?"

LOL, if Bernie got elected, Matthews said he was afraid of executions happening in Central Park.

It's hilarious that the right tries to paint the entire left as socialists.  There's very little difference between establishment Dems and Reps.  Maybe a social issue here or there.  They would rather Trump win so they could keep the power they have in their fiefdom.

Regarding Matthews and the Central Park executions line, he was very obviously joking, perhaps bitter in tone, but not actually serious. I can't believe anyone legitimately believes he thinks that would really happen.

Whenever I see the ads on TV for Bloomberg, it always strikes me funny that he was Michael Bloomberg for so long publicly, but now he's Mike Bloomberg.

It reminded me of an SNL skit from 1988 that spoofed a Republican debate. Former Delaware Governor Pete DuPont was a lower tier candidate who was about to make a point when Dan Aykroyd, in an unbilled guest spot as Bob Dole, interrupted. Dole grumpily cut him off.

"If I may interrupt my good friend Pierre. By the way. Pierre, that's your name. It's not Pete. It's Pierre. You shouldn't go around calling yourself Pete when your name is Pierre. I know it. You know it. The American people know it!"

He probably spent $3 million on focus groups and market research showing that “Mike” is more relatable than “Michael”. But he’s not an elitist.

And if he did spend $3 million people will think goddam thats a lot of money.  But, to him it’s like spending 30 cents out of a hundred dollar bill.
The last election was between an oligarch and a plutocrat.  Bloomberg v Trump would simply place an oligarch with another plutocrat.
