All right, I'll kick it off. Good riddance, you piece of shit. There, got that out of the way. Now, what happens next? I just can't see her being replaced before the election. Murkowski has already said she won't vote for a replacement before the election and Mittens will probably follow. They have to give cover for Susan Collins who is up for reelection and can't publicly say that she'll follow marching orders from the opposition party. The politics will be far too ugly and the time far too short for anything to get done before the first week of November. The left would ram someone through if they had the chance, but the R's are controlled opposition, gate-keepers, so they'll fold like cheap suits. That said, here's what Ruth Bader Meinhoff allegedly said on her deathbed: "My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed." Installed?? What a telling choice of words. Beyond that, the import is that if Trump wins reelection, no one should replace here on the SCOTUS for another 4 years. Get fucked, you crone! That seat belongs to the people of this country, not you. And what is she worried about anyway, we'll probably get another Neil "Transsexuals deserve special rights too" Gorsuch. BTW, at least 4 GOP senators have already stated that they will not vote on a replacement for RGB until after the election. Perhaps we wont get some drunken frat boy neo nazi dips**t as a replacement.

So serious question. If Scalia died in February and that was too close to the election, how do you justify replacing RBG literally weeks before the election? I haven’t seen the talking points yet and I’m not sure if they’ve even figured them out yet, but clearly “this is different” and they will have a perfectly logical reason why Trump needs to replace her immediately and why it’s not hypocrisy at all but a sacred presidential duty. I’m curious what they come up with. And just got record, I think the Supreme Court, including and maybe especially Gorsuch, has actually been quite good and the only branch of government currently working.
