Marijuana has now been legalized in NJ. I have begun making preparations to cross the border.

Everything is for schools and libraries now.

Uh huh, Maryland residents heard the same story about 10 years ago when casinos moved into the state. Gotta wonder where all of that money is going though since there are numerous schools throughout the state that don't even have basics such as heat / air conditioning much less computers.

The told us that shit in Michigan in the 80s, but all they did was move the money.  The added the Lotto money to schools and then reduced school funding by an equal amount.  Robbed Peter to pay Paul, so to speak.

The CA lotto has given California schools something like 37 billion since 1985.

Seems like a big number but I don’t know what it translates to in the real world

Be honest, are you just watching other people watch election coverage on YouTube tonight?

Politico reporting that PA is done counting mail in ballots for the night (still over 250,000 to count).

Not at all. I’m checking the USA Today page for Ohio numbers, watching a little tv and talking to my friends in TX, CA and AZ.

Oh OK, it’s not like it’s important or anything. Take a few mental health days, go to a spa, get back to us in a week or two. I just want to make sure you’re not stressed.

Given the news stories in the MSM, I was expecting Trump to get blown out. Right now, Trump is leading nearly all of the "Up for Grabs" states and would have enough electoral votes to win this thing. Could the MSM get it wrong 2 presidential elections in a row?

Adding to the above, is anyone watching election coverage on any of the networks? What are they saying? I can't tune in since the family is watching "Luke Cage" on Netflix.

Is this a serious question?

They chose tonight to start watching a show that was canceled 2 years ago?  I hope they at least watched Jessica Jones first. It was better.

Ha ha, it is our COVID quarantine project. We are watching all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, TV, etc in storyline chronological order. I am surprised at how good the Marvel offerings on Netflix (Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage) have been. Haven't gotten to any episodes of Iron Fist or The Defenders yet.

You will like Defenders. I didn’t care for Iron Fist.

You can skip Iron Fist. Jessica Jones Season 1 is as good a season of any show as I’ve ever seen, period. Luke Cage is good and so is Punisher. Daredevil was OK.  Then Disney+ fucked everything up. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming...Trump and Biden suck.

Really interesting pattern, where about 65% of the early mail in vote went to Biden, and all of today’s in person voting has skewed
Republican. That’s why we’re seeing Trump charging hard in the swing states.
