They will become more ostracized, more radicalized, and more violent. Trying to silence people is never the answer and never changes minds. I feel that way when universities ban conservative speakers and I feel that way now. Google and Apple can choose to remove any app from their stores. It's not the government doing it, they are not illegal, so this isn't a freedom issue. Just like any other removed app, if you want it, the file is extremely easy to download from the web.
