That's great. I hope the real story behind her resignation comes out (although I suspect it'll never see the light of day) and she's forced to live the rest of her life as a bigger political joke than she already is.

No, I'm a huge supporter of Palin, but this is Bullshit. Taking the remarks on the surface, she is resigning so that she won't be a "Lame Duck". Horse Shit. That's when most shit actually gets done, when you don't have an election to loose.

Palin said the decision to resign had been in the works "for a while" and was based on prayer and talking with her husband, Todd, and their five children. Her kids, she said, encouraged her to step down.
"It was four 'yeses' and one 'hell yeah,' and the 'hell yeah' sealed it," Palin said.
I bet the one "hell yeah" was from God himself, who has gotten tired of these Republicans praying to him every 5 seconds and then ignoring His advice to make ridiculously stupid decisions. God wants a rest and he has officially put his cell phone on "Silent".
