It's happened more than 100 times in the big leagues.

Most recent I can remember is Jason Marquis with the Cubs in 2008.

Other notable pitchers to hit grand slams....

Babe Ruth (before he was moved to the OF), Walter Johnson, Mel Stottlemyre, Don Larsen, Don Drysedale, Bob Gibson (did it twice), Burt Hooten, Jim Longborg, Early Wynn, Lefty Grove, Denny Neagle, Dontrelle Willis,......

So, now it's not the first time. Even a blind squirrel can find a nut every so often.
