Ports brought up a good topic about the rasslin's fans, and when I went to respond, I remembered an art that went out the window through the years...

The Art of Seeking An Autograph

Do you all remember how fans used to scratch, bite, and gouge when they flocked to ring corners to get a wrestler's autograph?  This aspect of wrestling match was huge in the 60's and 70's.

What happened to it?

It seems that all the major feds got rid of it around the same time.  It was probably done away with due to security reasons.

So, do you remember any memories dealing with yourself or other fans seeking or getting an autograph before or after a match?

I think the jobbers were even flocked upon.  Any funny stories related to somebody asking for an autograph from a wrestler like Sylvano Sousa or Frank Williams?

Do you remember any wrestlers being rude when seeking an autograph?

Did a heel ever sign an autograph for you?

To hell with all these autograph sessions, and guys like Good Ol' Buddy Rose asking $10.00 for an autograph while sitting a banquet table munching down Fritos and Little Debbie snack cakes.
