|They did indeed work a sign and trade for Bosh. Toronto gets a couple of picks and a trade exception which gives them added cap space. Toronto's "we will do it", "we won't do it" act just reeked of a team working its options to me. Just makes more sense to get it done. Miami can get him to take less per year for cap reasons, because he can get a good bit more overall this way with an extra year on the contract, and Toronto gets to pick up picks and valuable cap room (maybe cash too) instead of nothing. And it keeps both sides as trusted trading partners (these two teams have made a few deals in the last few years).
