Hammer, that's what I allways thought, too, but some of the guys here (MWF) say to do that, ref like it's a shoot, others say never to do that, and I'm a new referee so I wasn't sure what to do.  What I decided, and what I told all the guys was that from now on if I get to 3 I get to 3,simple as that,we can deal with it in the locker room later, but I'm counting 3 and calling for the bell.  Would have done that anyways but it was a supershow for us and Redneck Jason is new, too, and works his ass off and IMHO deserved more than 1-2 minutes of ring time.

What really got me was the second match, and how much of a clusterfuck it was. Those guys have had one of the hottest feuds in recent memory and both guys have mentored me in the ring and specifically asked for me to be their referee because they felt they could trust me,and then this happened.  I don't mind crowd heat if I play the blind deaf and dumb referee, but had to do it 3 times and it took away from their match, and I feel awful about it,all 3 of us really wanted to put a beatdown on the announcer dude, but what can you do?

Anyways,in 2 more weeks I'll be at it again and I hope to regain some of my in ring confidence, they say if you fall of a horse you have to get back on him,so that's what I'll do.
