As old as they are, I still enjoy the Hammer Studios Christopher Lee - Peter Cushing films.    Although most of the films based on Steven King's stuff isn't very good, I really liked both 'The Shining' and 'It', if you can get past the fact that 'It' falls apart in the last ten minutes the same way the book fell apart in the last fifteen pages.

I don't know how it would hold up since I haven't seen it in years, but when I was in the 5th grade, Vincent Price's 'The Pit and the Pendulum' scared the hell out of me and gave me nightmares.
