Do you listen to these?

Someone asked me a question about Stephen King's It, and I tried to look online for the answer. While looking online for the answer I discovered that the entire book was available online on, YouTube.

I realize I'm late to the game regarding these, but this is the the first time I've ever listened to one. I had read the book previously, so I had known the entire story, and had painted the picture in my head.

Bottom line. I found the audio book almost listenable. The reader took me out of the story.

Have you ever tried to listen to an audio book after you have the book?

Does it interfere with your enjoyment of the story?
