Crusher was AWA Champion at the time. I saw a partial clip of the lineup for the Lubbock card somewhere. It only had the main event and semi main event listed. Gagne indeed was billed as Champion in the ad.  Did both papers bill him as AWA Champion in the results clipping. Just curious.
