 KU losing to Syracuse in the 2003 NCAA Final. The prior year KU had made it to the final 4 and lost to Maryland in the semifinal. Everyone except for Drew Gooden returned and it was an even better team that year. Thankfully  they pulled that massive comeback vs Memphis in 2008 to win it all.
