Game 5, 1995 Division Series vs. Seattle also still stings.

I go with the 1995 game easy. Being back in the playoffs was still fresh for Yankees fans. They were up two games to none and Yankees fans were rabid off an exciting game 2.

The 2001 Series, by then the Yanks had won a bunch of times already, overall played a lousy World Series and did not hit a lick but got bailed out, Mariano fucked the game up and a few ding hits killed them at the end, too.

To me that was not as bad as 1995 which ended with a stunning hit after a comeback.

Believe it or not, watching Tom Watson miss the putt to win the 2009 British Open was horrible, as we almost had a guy from "our day" beat the young 'uns and win a major.
