 Mark the Bird Fidrych and I were born on the same day
August 14, 1954.
Got to meet him when he was pitching for the Tigers in the
70's. A friend of mine ran the visitors clubhouse at Comiskey
Park. Great guy, Got to talk to him for about 10 minutes.

Sad that he died so young.
