Mike Trout got ripped off again. Better player then Cabrera and had a better season.
Cabrera's team actually made the playoffs. The Angels were 78-84. Trout's production did not equate to wins on the field. Cabrera's did.
It's an individual award, not a team award. While Cabrera had a better overall batting season, Trout wasn't that far behind. Also Trout destroyed Him in Fielding and Base running. Who cares if Detroit made the playoffs. They also had 6 other All Stars around Him. That is just a very weak argument.
It's not a weak argument when Trout's team is 6 games below .500. How valuable can you be on a shitty team?
This is a Jersey thing. Friend of mine has the same thing going on with Trout. There is no reasoning with him.
