But once they're done, they're done for good (unless they settle on breaking this contract) -
Motley Crüe have signed a contract that will permanently dissolve the legendary rock group after one last tour. With the announcement of their second farewell tour in less than a decade, the rockers vowed that this time, once and for all, they are calling it quits.
At yesterday's press conference in Los Angeles, Tommy Lee, Vince Neil, Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx inscribed their signatures on a legally-binding "cessation of touring agreement", vouchsafed by attorney Doug Mark. Although Motley Crüe plan to play 72 North American cities in 2014, followed by international dates next year, the four members will go their separate ways when The Final Tour is over. If they do not, they can apparently be sued - though it's not clear by whom.
It's a cute gimmick. It doesn't mean anything, but I have no doubt that they're serious about retiring as of right now.
This thread was great before AA ruined it.
