I have no doubt that Ron is aware of this, but in search of something else, I stumbled upon the June 4, 1976 edition of the Kingman (AZ) Daily Miner. The town of Kingman is very near the Nevada border. In its listings of sports action on TV that weekend, it promoted the debut of All Star Wrestling on channel 9, which was then KHJ-9 from Los Angeles and is now known as KCAL-9. It was shown in the town on cable. All Star Wrestling was noted as making its debut on the channel and possibly its overall debut. The governing body was the United Wrestling Alliance with Ivan Koloff billed as World Champion and the other wrestlers including Superstar Billy Graham, Ernie Ladd, and John Tolos. Seymour Koenig, a former wrestler, was noted as the announcer. The debut was to air Sunday June 6, 1976 at Noon. To give an idea of how quickly this may have ended, the Sunday June 20, 1976 listing in that timeslot on that station is TBA.
