|Thank you for these additional results. Somewhere there are results for a card the by then World Pacific Wrestling promotion put on in either late 1986 or early 1987 at the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu that featured Bruiser Brody, Kevin Sullivan, Mark Lewin, I think The Sheik, and at least a couple of New Japan guys. The results ran in PWI. I have the edition stored someplace, but can't currently locate it.
The November 1988 cards were promoted by Dunbar Wakayama, a Hawaii radio DJ and voiceover guy for commercials and such who at one time was one of the TV announcers for the Polynesian Pacific promotion. His attempt at running these cards led to allegations of an attempted strong arming by Lia Maivia, Lars Anderson, and Ati So'o that resulted in their arrests. No one was ever convicted or plead guilty to any charges. They were said to have threatened Wakayama, who went to the authorities, with violence if he didn't rent their ring, buy ad time on their TV show, paid them a booking fee as a cut for running in their territory, and possibly use some of their wrestlers on the cards.
