After defeating the division-rival St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field on Sunday, the Chicago Cubs' incredible 2016 campaign earned them a place in the record books, setting a franchise record with their 57th win at home.

The Cubs also reached 99 wins for the first time since 1935 with Sunday's victory over the Cardinals.

Chicago's home record of 57-24 and its overall mark of 99-56 are both tops in all of baseball.

The Cubs also secured home-field advantage through the NLCS earlier this week.
