Found these written down from 1978. I was going through some of my programs and found this letter that I was supposed to send to George Lentz in Milwaukee. I wrote the first two down from TV interviews. The last card I attended.

Lumberjack Match
Pepper Gomez beat Jimmy Valiant

Wilbur Snyder & Wee Willie beat Johnny Valiant & Mighty Cupid

Johnny Starr beat Bountry Hunter #1
El Bracero drea LaPantera

The main event was supposed to be a Mexican Strap match between Gomez and Jimmy Valiant. The ring was never delivered. Bob Luce came out and announced that the ring truck was being held hostage by the Valiant Brothers so that Jimmy wouldn't have to wrestle Gomez that night in a strap match. Luce added that he was going to make it a lumberjack match and that Valiant had to wrestle or forfeit $10,000.
The workers in the Hammond Civic Center then brought a bunch of gym mats out  and every match was wrestled on the mats. Craziest thing I ever saw but the fans went along with it. Some of the WWA wrestlers said it happened a few times in smaller towns and it was usually Bruiser's son who was driving the ring truck and that he never showed those times.
