Dwight Howard was pulled over in suburban Atlanta on the morning the Hawks were eliminated from the playoffs, and was found to be driving without insurance and on a suspended registration, according to a police report cited by AJC's Mitchell Northam.

The report states Howard was pulled over for speeding in Dunwoody, Ga., during the early hours of April 28. The 2016 Audi he was driving subsequently came up as having a suspended registration with no insurance. Howard was only issued a ticket, but his vehicle was towed. According to the report, a black SUV following Howard's car was driven by Howard’s security guard.

Howard scored nine points, grabbed seven rebounds, and had five turnovers in that night's 115-99 home loss to the Washington Wizards.
