Al Frankin officially announced his resignation within the next few weeks.

My useless senator, Kirsten Gillibrand, who got the ball rolling on Frankin's exile from the Democrats with a scathing Facebook post yesterday, is now taking it further and saying that Bill Clinton should've been forced to resign the presidency for his affair with Monica Lewinsky.  She campaigned with Clinton last year and there are tons of pics of her out there smiling while Clinton has his arms wrapped around her.

Not sure what she's hoping to accomplish with these comments.  She's being crucified by her liberal constituents right now, and it's not like Republicans are going to stop calling her a hypocrite for her hysterical 20-year track rtecord of...well, hypocrisy.  If this is a calculated risk to raise her national profile and make her a contender to win the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, well I don't know how well that's going to work for her.  But she's sure angling for something and burning down the party in the process.  I absolutely love the chaos.  I'm roasting marshmallows watching it burn.

This thread was great before AA ruined it.
