A friend of mine has went a step further.
he orders from target - toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent (same stuff same quantities every month) - free shipping. Doesn't leave the house for half the stuff.
I pretty much do the same thing with Walmart. Amazon still hasn't figured out how to beat Walmart prices for pantry items (detergent, toiletries, etc). Its Amazon Pantry service charges a fee per box that winds up making the purchase more expensive than Walmart. Amazon also has "dash" orders (you just click a button when you want to re-order or tell Alexa to order it) and you can subscribe to purchase items every month but I don't trust them yet since you don't see the price of the stuff. Given the wild price fluctuations that I have seen for items on Amazon and other online sites, I want to make sure that I can see the price of what I am ordering.
