|I drink beer every night, smoke cigars and have bad days once in awhile but I try to stick to it as much as I can without being annoying.
Overall we did a couple of things
We do time restricted eating; which for us is nothing but water between 9p and 2p; Sometimes we just eat dinner.
Outside of pizza with the kids twice a month we don’t eat any fast food. If we want something bad like French fries I cut potatoes myself and fry them.
We eat Keto meals about 85% but we still cheat from time to time.
Doing Paleo a few years ago and Keto now has re-educated my mind on how to eat. I grew up eating a lot to gain muscle mass and worked out hard enough to burn the garbage but I don’t have that luxury any longer.
If you had to pick one thing I would say start with the time restricted eating and then start cutting things that are bad for you that you can live without.
For me I gave up sweets, bread and tortillas but kept beer and all in all I’m down 14 pounds.
