|As already mentioned, some of these fad diets are not sustainable. I know many, many people who have gone on these, lost lots of weight, and then went back to their lifestyle and gained everything back. Sadly, dieters will use these fad diets to avoid any sort of exercise. There's no two ways about it, if one wants to lose weight and keep it off, they must alter their lifestyle.
I suppose these diets would be good if one is morbidly obese and he/she must lose weight quickly. The trick is to incorporate exercising when they go off the diet.
