Gene doesn’t do anything in that match and legends led by Dusty Rhodes and Roddy Piper come out and help Sheamus win.

So then I looked him up on to see if there were any other matches I forgot about and apparently in 2000, at the depths of WCW’s suckitude, Gene feuded with Mark Madden. He pinned him in a singles match and teamed with Buff Bagwell to beat him and Kanyon in a tag match on back-to-back Thunders. I defy anyone to remember any of that nonsense.

Anyway, Gene was 4-0 in his career.

Conrad mentioned Gene's WCW matches on one of his 3 tribute shows.  I'm assuming I heard it on the Bischoff show.  I think it's neat that Gene had more than 10 years between all 3 angles.
