1.59M seems like a pretty solid number, anyone remember where they were number-wise way back when the network launched, and figures they were hoping for in order to consider it a success? Seems like a lifetime ago in a way.
If I recall correctly, the number they mentioned was 2 million.
It was, and that was 2 million paid. They’ve probably barely exceeded 1 million paid with all their freebies, especially this time of year.
Regardless of my feelings about the current product the network is crazy awesome and I think at this point the only people left to add to that number are the old time fans that are still holding out for “their” territory to be added The E is always going to have a churn with the current fans although they may see an upswing here if wrestling becomes cool again with the E possibly having some competition.
I’m looking forward to the tiered system as I’d gladly pay a few extra bucks for additional old footage or access to Evolve or some other E friendly indies.
